This shot looks across the Menai Straits to Caernarfon on the far bank.
This particular stretch of coast is strewn with decaying rotten jetties and groynes, which I find make ideal items to include in the foreground of these coastal photos.
As well as breaking up the expanse of water in the foreground of the image they add an air of melancholy and timelessness to the image, which reflects how the scene made me feel at the time.
