The season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.
This evocative photo of low lying mist was taken in early Autumn from the top of Foel Ffenli in the Clwydian range of mountains in North Wales.
Foel Ffenli is an old Iron Age fort, with a great 360 degree view of the Clwydians, the Vale of Clwyd, and the Cheshire plain.
As such it's a great place to watch and photograph the dawn, especially when the forecast has mist on the menu as was the case this fine morning.
Even wthout a photgraphic agenda it's just a wonderful place to be.
