This is the view on a beautiful early Autumn evening as you look back along the path that winds from the Pen Barras car park up to the top of Moel Famau.
Across from the saddle in which the car park lies you get a great view of Foel Ffenli, the ancient Iron Age fort with its earthwork fortifications still clearly visible in the low angled light.
I love being able to hop in my car and ten minutes later be climbing one of these peaks, camera and tripod to the ready, to see what the day brings.
What a wonderful place North Wales is.
