My wife Liz and I spent the final few days of our two week holiday in the mountains of northern Italy exploring Lake Garda and the surrounding area.
One of our favourite places to stop for a lakeside promenade, including coffee and gelato of course, was the small lakeside town of Bardolino.
Very pretty indeed, as this image of the small harbour with multi-coloured flags fluttering the breeze illustrates very well.
