The story behind this image

Staying for a few days in the medieval village of Castellaro Laguesello, just to the south of Lake Garda in northern Italy, gave my wife Liz and I ample opportunity to walk around this delightful UNESCO World Hertigate Site.

One of the most visually arresting aspects of the village was the gate tower, an imposing structure for such a liitle place to say the least!
