During our two week holiday exploring the lakes and mountains of northern Italy, my wife Liz and I took a day trip to the city of Milan, meeting up with Attilio Alessio, a friend and colleauge of mine who lives and works in the area.
Attilio showed us round some of the sights, starting with this amazing tree covered tower block by visionary architect Stefano Boeri.
It loked amazing, and hopefully is a shape of things to come for sustainable living.
