The banks of the river Dee estuary at Deeside, North Wales, are littered with the remnants of heavy industry, now almost all gone.
Some of these remnants are ugly, but some retain their elegance, at least from a distance.
One such example of faded grandeur is the main office building for the now defunct John Summers steelworks, sitting like a small stately home next to the water.
In an increasing state of disrepair, I hope this quaint old red brick monolith can be saved, as the riverbank views would be lessened without its unique style.
