My wife Liz and I were enjoying a long weekend in the Lake District at the end of July 2020, and having driven northwards to the stunning Wastwater lake we were now meandering our way back south towards our holiday apartment.
But with a lovely evening developing we decided to divert to the coast and spend an hour or two exploring Ravenglass, a fishing village that time forgot.
And I'm certainly glad we did, as Ravenglass proved to be a visual feast and a real treat for the senses.
As sunset approached we meandered down to the harbour wall whare I set up my camera to record the hundreds of still images needed to create my Ravenglass Sunset Timelapse #1 video.
But of course, I also took some standalone still images of the views, including these silhouetted yachts, standing tall against the colours of dusk on the western horizon, just after sunset.
