This photo was taken while Liz and I were strolling around the Bodensee, during our holiday in Austria.
This is a charming spot, and well worth a visit if you're in the area, but from a photographic point of view it was a little lacking in high drama compared with other places that we'd visited.
No matter though, what was missing in terms of soaring peaks was more than compensated for by the dramatic colour of the landscape. Everything was green of various shades, so I decided to make a composition that showed nothing but green, with patches of various degrees of tonality giving structure and meaning to the image.
