This scene depicting the peaceful rural idyll of a lake reflection brings back many happy memories for me.
This is the lake at Christleton, a small village in Cheshire, England, and it's where I went to school every day from the age of five till eleven.
Back in the old days, when children were free to roam all day, I used to spend my summer holidays fishing there (against the rules) and playing games rife with imagination with my friends amongst the reed beds and secret paths.
How things have changed over the years. Although our culture is much more risk averse now than it was back when I was a child and everything is much safer, I'm glad I grew up with the freedoms I had, and lived in such a magical place.
