Leaf Blur #1

Autumn leaves with motion blur

The story behind this image

Out walking in our local country park with some of my grandchildren, I was half looking for abstract blur shots I could take quickly, handheld, as we were going along. (Grandchildren don't take kindly to waiting for you while you compose a shot, set up the tripod etc..!)

It was pretty gloomy in the woods and my tree blurs shots weren't working, but looking down, I saw a perfect carpet of leaves under my feet.

I shot this image while actually walking along, and was really quite taken with the amount and angle of blur acheived. Not too much that the subject is unrecogniseable is the key for a good blur.
