Another mystical morning at Penmon, the eastern-most point on the island of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast.
The sun is still a good half hour below the horizon, but already the sky to the east is glowing red and orange in anticipation of the dawn as the sea kisses the rocky foreshore with a sibilant hiss.
A lonely lighthouse sits in sillhouette on the rocks as its warning bell tolls mournfully across the straits over which it stands guard.
On the foreshore a solitary figure (me) hunches over a strange three legged contraption, pushing buttons and muttering unintelligable phrases in what seems to be some sort of religious ritual.
Very odd behaviour, but well understood by anyone who indulges in early morning landscape photography!
