I had some fun taking this photo of the lighthouse at Penmon Point on the island of Anglesey
The weather that morning was quite active, with squalls and sunshine following each other every few minutes. The sea was quite lively as well, which is unusual for this part of the world first thing in the morning.
So there I was, perched on a rock with the tide rising around me and largish waves crashing onto my platform sending spray perilously close to my camera.
What with trying to prevent my tripod from being knocked over, wiping rain off my filters and coping with extra large waves that washed over my boots I'm suprised I managed to take any photos at all!
However, I did manage a few exposures from this spot, and this was the best of the bunch. Shortly after taking this one I had to abandon my position to the enroaching sea and seek higher ground.
Who says landscape photography is all peaceful contemplation!
