Another day, another view of South Stack lighthouse on the island of Anglesey off the North Wales coast.
This show was taken just before sunset, from within a crumbling WW2 lookout post perched high on the cliff above the lighthouse.
What attracted me to this view was the framing of the lighthouse within the opening in the decaying lookout post.
I especially liked the way the last of the sun's rays were picking out detail on one side of the collapsed window in gold, while leaving the other side in darkness, and I emphasised this contrast difference during the creation of the final image in Photoshop.
