The cliffs at South Stack on the island of Anglesey are a haven for a great variety of seabirds, and form a very important breeding location throughout spring and summer.
The RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) has a permanent lookout post here called Ellin's Tower, as shown in this shot, taken late in the day as the rays of the setting sun light up the cliffs with a golden glow.
Whenever I'm here photographing the scenery I always seem to meet fellow photographers equipped with long lenses and an infinite amount of patience as they wait for a bird to do something interesting half a mile away!
I've never been that interested in wildlife photography personally, as it seems to take over completely the life of anyone who tries it, and I have neither the kit not the patience to make a success of it.
However, if I was ever going to give photographing birds a try, this would be the place.
