The end of a beautiful summer's day on the island of Anglesey and, as usual, I'm perched precariously on the edge of the cliffs overlooking South Stack lighthouse as the sun just disappears over the horizon.
Beneath me on the cliffs themselves, thousands of guillemots scream and wheel over their nest sites as I take a photo just as the lighthouse beacon shines directly at me.
Above, the sky is already darkening towards night, with the high altitude cirrus clouds still catching the sun and glowing in the gathering gloom.
This is a time for contemplation and wonder, taking photos happens almost by accident.
