Surely one of the most iconic and instantly recogniseable buildings in the UK, if not the world.
This is the world famous Royal Liver Building, part of the Liverpool waterfront on the banks of the River Mersey in Northwest England, which, together with the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building, make up the 'Three Graces'.
My wife Liz and I had a drive around the Wirral Peninsula to take a look at the Liverpool skyline, and I must say I was quite blown away with the combination of traditional and modern architecture, lit by crisp sunlight.
So once we'd parked up at Seacombe Dock, home of the famous Mersey Ferry, it was out with the camera to record the scene for posterity and enjoyment.
