A beautiful summer's evening in late July and where else would I want to be other than on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, on the North Wales coast, watching and photographing as the sun slowly sinks towards the western horizon, just off the tip of the other-worldly Llanddwyn Island.
Right at the end of Llanddwyn Island lies the much photographed watchtower, perched on a volcanic outcropping looking out over the Irish Sea with a small beach just to the side.
And it was on that beach that I plonked my tripod down and settled in to take the hundreds of still images that I needed to create my Llanddwyn Timelapse #1 video that lasted through sunset and on into dusk.
I selected this single image from the middle of the shoot, with the sun just kissing the horizon and the watchtower rendered as a near silhouette against the glowing skies.
Just a wonderful, peaceful place to spend a few hours in contemplation and image making.
