At the end of autumn the weather along the North Wales coast can get decidely frisky, with weather fronts sweeping over from the west bringing strong winds and lively cloudscapes.
Ideal conditions for a spot of photography then, as this panoramic collage of the Great Orme limestone headland at the western end of Llandudno Bay illustrates very nicely.
Taken on a day of blustery winds and broken cloud, the play of sunlight and shadow over the Orme, together with large, crashing waves on the foreshore proved irresitable.
The inclusion of a few brave souls at the water's edge was a bonus, adding a human element so show the size of the breaking waves.
