A peaceful end to the day on the North Wales coast at Llandudno's West Shore.
The tide was well out as Liz and I went walking along the wet sand, watching the colours of twilight gently caress the veil of clouds above our heads.
As we walked along we arrived at a stream of water, emptying from a rock pool abandoned by the tide, and snaking its way down the beach to the sea is the far distance.
I couldn't let this lovely scene pass by without a photograph, but with the differenital in brightness between the sky and land it took five tripod mounted exposures, each 1 stop apart, to capture the full range of tones and colours in the scene before me.
Back home, a conversion to HDR in adobe Lightroom, plus a few tweaks of contrast and colour balance, was all that was required to produce this final image, very much in keeping with the mood of peace and wonder that we both felt on the beach that evening as God's glory played out over our heads.
