I love witnessing and photographing the landscape when things are on the cusp of change.
The changing seasons, the changing weather, the ebbing and flowing of the tides at the coast, and most of all, the changing light at the beginning and end of each day.
This image illustrates my love of twilight.
Taken just after sunset, facing northwest on the West Shore beach at Llandudno on the North Wales coast, the last vestiges of light were just kissing the clouds in a red embrace as the cool blues of twilight stole across the sky.
At my feet, the wet sands of the freshly uncovered beach reflected the glory unfolding above as I breathed slowly in and out before pressing the shutter release to capture the moment for posterity.
