With long, flat horizons, seaside scenery lends itself well to the panoramic format, and I've got access to some of the best, the North Wales coast.
This particular example is Llanfairfechan, a wonderful example of the slightly faded grandeur that is so typical of this area.
With a lovely promenade, a fabulous sandy beach strewn with decaying groynes and a huge headland, Llanfairfechan is a very photogenic spot, a fact I took full advantage of during this lovely afternoon stroll along the shoreline with my wife Liz.
