Llangollen, that jewel of a market town on the banks of the river Dee in North Wales, home of the Eisteddfod and Thomas the Tank Engine (or so they would have us believe).
Liz and I come here two or three times a year to walk along the riverbank and to partake of a coffee or two.
This is the view looking back along the river Dee to the town bridge at dusk, just as the orange of the streetlights is nicely balanced with the cool blue tones of the ambient light.
The river was quite low on this day, allowing me to step out onto the flat stone limestone pavement and catch the reflections of the bridge and lights in the slow moving water.
