A day off work in August, with a forecast of good weather in the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales, found me before sunrise on the shores of Llyn Llydaw watching and filming as the dawn broke over the rugged landscape, lighting up the surrounding peaks and providing amazing opportunities for me to shoot my Llyn Llydaw Timelapse #1 video involving hundreds of still images.
As time went by the Miner's Path around the shores of Llyn Llydaw became more and more crowded, as hundreds of hikers tramped by the abandoned mine workings on the far side of the lake from my vantage point.
Having caught the best of the light earlier on, I decided to photograph the hikers along with the mine workings, to show just how busy Snowdon can get.
