Winter in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, and trapped beneath an inversion layer a river of mist cascades down the slopes either side of Llyn Mymbyr, framing the silhouetted peaks of the Snowdon Horseshoe range on the western horizon.
As the suns sets and dusk falls, the high altitude clouds pick the faint colours of twilight, striating the sky above in a glowing pattern of light.
This is a time of wonder, and it almost feels like a sacriledge to photograph such beauty and peace.
