One of the most dramatic and most often photographed scenes in the Snowdonia national Park, North Wales.
This is the view over Llyn Mymbyr towards the peaks of the Snowdon Horseshoe, pictured under dramatic sunset light and with a mirror-like reflection of the colourful clouds in the still waters below.
Conditions like are rare in the turbulant weather conditions usually associated with this part of the world, so I was really blessed to be here on this particular evening.
I was actually here shooting the hundreds of frames needed to make my Llyn Mymbyr Time Lapse #11 video, with this individual image showing the best of the light, colours and reflection I encountered on that wonderful occasion.

Filters - 2 stop neutral density graduated filter used to balance the brightness between the scene and its reflection.
