A different view of the Louvre this time, taken during the day for once!
This is one of the covered walkways that line the Louvre courtyard, and I was very much taken with the strict, regimented geometry of the architecture that leads the eye inexorably through the scene to the small wrought iron gate at the far end.
The was a lovely interplay of light and shadow between the arches to which I was drawn like a magnet and I couldn't resist taking a photo.
A fair amount of optimisation and correction of light and shadow ensued in Photoshop to make sure all the detail could be seen.
