Standing at a high viewpoint on the 300 metre sea cliffs of Mallorca's stunning Cap de Formentor looking down at the rock promontories of the coastline below is a little surreal.
With the sun high in the sky the sea takes on a deep blue colour which, enhanced by a polarising filter, makes the light coloured rock look like it's floating in space.
With perception of height and distance so strangely affected by the surreal view, there's a serious temptation just to step off the cliff edge and fly (or try to for a little while at least!)
However, I'm glad to say I resisted the temptation and limited myself to taking photos instead!
