Sandwiched between the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains and the Mediterranean sea, the MA-10 road along the west coast of Mallorca takes you by some stunning scenery.
Just south of the little town of Banyalbufar lies the Mirador (viewpoint) de ses Animes, with the Torre del Verger perched precariously on the edge of a high sea cliff, looking like it's about to fall off.
This monochrome image adds a sense of drama to the scene, which certainly wasn't apparent in the reality of the sun kissed and blue skied afternoon when Liz and I stopped here for a picnic.
