The tiny Port de Valldemossa on the rugged west coast of Mallorca took some white knuckle driving down a very twisty and narrow road to get to.
But it was well worth the effort, as this lovely little fishing village has remained relatively unspoilt and undeveloped, and reeks of olde worlde charm.
While I spent some time photographing waves hitting the stony beach, my wife Liz went exploring the back streets and soon returned to get me to come and look at what she'd found.
One of the charming items she'd spotted was this lovely hand painted ceramic plaque on the side of the small village church, with vivid colouirs and detail just begging to be photographed.
I wanted to justice to those lovely colours, and with a bright afternoon sun shining down I needed to use my polarising filter to remove the traces of glare that were reflecting off the glazed tile.
