Of all the places Liz and I visited during our ten day stay on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, the lovely Port de Soller became our favourite.
It must have been, because we made the hour and a half drive along the 'interesting' MA-10 road from where we were staying in Alcudia Bay three times during our time on the island in order to visit here.
Situated in a bay on the west coast, and backed by the impressive Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, this was a highly photogenic location, as well as being a lovely place to eat, stroll and just relax.
We explored the town from all angles, with this view being from quite a posh residential street a little way above the port which gives a good idea of the sweep of the bay, with the yacht marina at the far end.
