The small seaside resort of Porto Christo on the east coast of Mallorca is a little gem of a place.
Largely untouched by tourist development it's a place where you'll find the locals going for a little rest and relaxation.
My wife Liz and I, plus daughter, husband and grandchildren, decided to stop for an hour or so to play on the beach after having visited the very impressive Cuevas del Drach close by.
I'm really glad we did, otherwise we might have missed this lovely, and very photogenic little resort.
So as the grandchildren played in the sand Liz and I went off exploring along the promenade that started on the beach and edged along the headland in a series of sweeping curves.
This particular view attracted me because of the lovely old tree that had been left in situ to hang over the path.
Just a great arrangement of shapes and colours in a photo that gives a nice warm 'feel good' sensation whenever I look at it.
And just for the record - yes - I did go in the sea once I'd finished my photographic endeavours - and it was lovely and warm - just like the photos.
