The shorelines of fishing villages always have a wealth of details lying about waiting to be photographed, and the quaint harbour at Moelfre on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey is no exception.
I spotted this colourful arrangement of old plastic buoys and a lifebelt lying in the bottom of an abandoned boat right by the pebble beach, and I just couldn't walk on by without pausing to take a few photos.
Having tried a few different compositions this one proved to be the strongest, with a tight crop excluding all background details and focusing attention on the abstract shapes and colours of the nautical detritus.
