Arriving for our week's stay at Connelles, on the banks of the river Seine in Normandy, my wife Liz and I were greeted with this beautiful sight of the chateau Moulin de Connelles reflecting in the still waters of the river.
Just catching the weak evening sun, the scene was to die for, and even before we'd unpacked I was out on a wooden footbridge overlooking the river, capturing this view along with a fellow photographer from the U.S.A.
I'm very glad I prioritised photography over unpacking, as the sun only put in an appearance for a brief few minutes before disappearing into the clouds and not re-appearing for a few days or so!
It just shows that the time to take the photo is NOW! You never know if you'll get another chance.
