Dawn on a beautiful summer's morning and I'm standing on Llandudno's East Shore just watching as the sun approaches the eastern horizon.
At my feet the waves break over the shoreline rocks, worn into fantastic shapes by the never ending action of the sea, and the gentle sound of moving water is the only accompaniment to my morning vigil.
Stretching out across the scene is the imposing structure of Llandudno's pier, silhouetted against the irridescent sky, and I just stand there, camera on tripod, lazily pressing the remote release as the scene unfolds in front of me.
A few more minutes pass, the sun breaches the horizon, rapidly climbs into the sky, and it's time for me to pack things away and drive for an hour to get to work for 8 o'clock.
Memories of mornings like this stay with me, and live on in the photos I take. I just pray I'll be able to keep on experiencing such beauty and peace for years to come, and I thank God for times such as these.
