The story behind this image

We have some quite large and many hued rhododendron bushes in our garden, and every year I try and get a definative rhododendron image to add to my collection.

You would think that with such an abundance of subject matter this would be and easy task, but not so!

These flowers are very suseptible to breeze induced movement and, with so many of them in a confined space, it's hard to find a decent bloom that you can shoot against an uncluttered background. Hence, this is my best rhododendron image to date. I'll try again this spring, and if I can achieve anything better then I'll post it here.
