The story behind this image

This small collection of grey slate chips, resting in the hollow of a larger rock, was found at my feet while climbing up Snowdon in North Wales.

I liked the combination of colours in this composition, which, combined with the textures in the rock and chippings, make a very pleasing mini landscape.
