During the coronavirus lockdown of Spring 2020 my wife Liz and I discovered some hidden gems while walking around our locality in Buckley, North Wales.
One rather large and not so hidden gem we 'discovered' was our local parish church of Saint Matthews, a rather imposing sandstone edifice featuring a large tower and impressive sculptures.
So as well as taking photos of the church as a whole I also spent some time concentrating on the details.
And with the sun low in the sky towards evening, that sandstone was glowing golden, just to add an extra layer of loveliness to the scene.
