Another image overlooking Sedona in Arizona, USA.
This time the sky is cloudless and I've waited until 30 minutes after sunset in order to photograph the lights of Sedona while the sky above still retains some of the afterglow of twilight.
There is around a 20 minute window of opportunity for this type of shot, either side of which the sky is either too light or too dark relative to the artificial lights of the town.
Above Sedona sits a solitary planet, maintaining a lonely vigil against the gathering night while behind the town Capital butte looms into the darkening sky.
