On a day out to explore the beautiful west Wales coast around Aberdyfi my wife Liz and I took the scenic route through the mountains of Snowdonia, passing by the lovely lake of Tal-y-llyn, or Llyn Mwyngil as it is otherwise known.
We stopped by the water's edge for a picnic, but it wasn't too long before I had my camera out, snapping a few images before heading on our way again.
This small boat, moored at the side of the lake, caught my eye so I used it as a focal point in a couple of compositions featuring the windswept water and surrounding mountains.
Just a lovely pause on our journey of discovery in this wonderful part of the world.
