Walking around the shore of beautiul Ullswater in the Lake District in Autumn, what better place could you be?
My wife Liz and I were just entranced by the colours around us, both in the grand view of whole trees covered in gold, and in the intimate view of single leaves lying on a stone in a stream.
This photograph is heavily manipulated in Photoshop, and if you saw the initial RAW file from the camera you would hardly recognise it as the same image. However, this manipulation wasn't gratuitous, but designed to bring out the mood that the Autumn colours evoked in us as we were strolling along, lost in the beauty around us and in each other's company.
