This tidal pool was left enticingly on the beach by the redecing tide at Llandudno's West Shore one beautiful summer's evening while Liz and I were out for a stroll.
I saw the pool in the distance and forgot all about the gentle stroll as I ran down the beach, extending tripod legs as I went, trying to get there before the sun dipped below the horizon on one of those all so rare occasions when the western sky wasn't blocked up with haze.
As you can see, I only just made it and managed to shoot off just a few exposures before the sun finally disappeared.
Liz eventually sauntered up just as I was finishing, and we carried on up the beach at our previous leisurely pace as the sunset gave way to dusk.
