So you're stood on the beach, camera on tripod, watching and photographing a beautiful sunset.
The horizon is clear as the sun kisses the land, while just a few degrees above the clouds are glowing orange in the dying rays.
This was the scene beofre me one lovely evening at Talacre beach on the North wales coast.
Of course, I didn't just take one photo of this spectacle, but dozens.
But how to decide which one is best?
In the end I couldn't, so instead I made this quintych showing the sunset sequence over the course of about five minutes.
I really like this approach, as instead of just a frozen moment in time I've now got a series of images that tell a story, and I find that conveys more meaning than just a single photo could ever do, no matter how stunning.
