The Point of Ayr lighthouse, in its improbable location on the beach at Talacre on the North Wales coast, is a magnet for outdoor photographers from far and wide.
I'm blessed by living only a half hour's drive from this amazing location, so I can pick and choose when I visit.
A clear sky at dusk allowed me to capture this image of the new crescent moon tracking downwards towards the horizon, passing by the lighthouse in its lonely vigil on into the night.
