Driving back after dark to our bed and breakfast at Waterfoot, County Antrim, Northern Ireland after a day exploring the coast, Liz and I came across this iconic old style red telephone box, seemingly in the middle of nowhere on a country lane.
It was obviously still in use, and with this type of phione box now virtually gone from the mainland UK, I just had to stop and take this photo.
I wonder how long it will be before this most British of landmarks will have vanished from Northern Ireland too.
Not for a good few years yet I hope.
