During our week long winter break spent on Tenerife in the Canary Islands my wife Liz and I spent most of our days touring around the less touristic areas of the island in our little hire car.
One of our early outings found us driving eastwards from our resort at Costa Adeje along the TF-28, a road that cuts through some of Tenerife's magnificent volcanic landscapes, taking in a number of towns and villages on the way.
We stopped near the town of El Roque to have a leg stretch and to take in the scenery, which included this wonderful view northwards towards the volcanic interior of the island.
But what made the view special to me was the bank of roiling cumulus clouds swirling overhead, so as well as capturing this panoramic collage of the scene I also shot several hundred images to create my Tenerife El Roque Timelapse #1 video, featuring that dramatic cloud action, while Liz and I munched on a dinnertime pizza.
And then it off again to explore yet more of this beautiful and dramatic landscape.
