A couple of days mini-break found my wife Liz and I exploring and enjoying the beauties of the Gower Peninsula on the South Wales coast near Swansea.
One place we wanted to see was Three Cliffs Bay, having watched an episode of the BBC's Weatherman Walking series which showed off this lovely spot.
Well we weren't disappointed, as Three Cliffs Bay, whether viewed from above or down at sea level was absolutely stunning, with dramatic rock formations, high cliffs and a pristine wave washed beach.
This image, taken from the top of the cliffs above the beach, shows the general view of the bay, with a fine rain falling lending a misty air of mystery to the scene.
