This is the first ever tree blur shot I attempted, and it shows! The other tree blur photos in this gallery were taken after much more practise and refinement of technique, and I've included this shot as a sort of 'before and after', to show how important it is to keep trying to improve your techniques through practise and study.
This particular shot has too much contrasting colour in the background, which confuses the eye and detracts from the main subject - the tree trunks.
I was first made aware of this style of photography by looking at the stunning motion blurs on William Neill's website and I would highly recommend a visit for further inspiration if you fancy having a go yourself.
