This is the virtually the same image as 'tree-snow-02'. Both were shot in wintertime in the snow, both show pretty much the same view out towards the Clwydian range of mountains taken from Loggerheads Country Park and both were converted to monochrome in Photoshop.
The only real difference between the two is that this photo was taken on a bright sunny day while 'tree-snow-02' was taken in the dark of night using a torch.
I'm always amazed at how many different views and moods you can express photographically without having to travel to the ends of the earth to find something new, especially in these days of increasing travel costs and aggravation, and most of my best photos have been taken locally.
