Caernarfon, on the North Wales coast is a jewel of a town, and my wife Liz and I often come here to walk around looking at the scenery and visiting the art galleries.
Arriving one sunny afternoon we decided to explore in the opposite direction from usual, and headed off down a footpath that led away from town, down the south bank of the Menai Straits.
The walk was lovely, but I didn't find anything to photograph until we had turned around and were heading back towards the town itself.
We were approaching this overgrown section of the path when the late afternoon sun came out from behind a cloud and bathed the trees surrounding the path in glowing light.
The effect only lasted a couple of minutes till the sun disappeared again, and I'm glad I was there, camera in hand, to capture the moment.
